Deep South - Lights, Camera, ..... Studio?
In Episode 4 of our documentary series Deep South, screen industry producers say that the ambitious $280 million Silverlight Studio project is the opposite of what they want and need.
The producers also believe the Wānaka project fails to address the biggest opportunity, and threat, to the $3.5 billion New Zealand screen sector, that employs 21,000 people - virtual production.
Researched and directed by Peta Carey, produced for Crux by Dave Gibson and Toby Crawford with funding from PIJF/NZ On Air.
