Tracey Roxburgh appointed Mountain Scene editor

Long term local journalist Tracey Roxburgh has been appointed Editor of the Mountain Scene, starting the new job on March 1st.

Ms Roxburgh is originally from Invercargill and started work initially for the Southland Times.

She has been with Allied Press, based in Queenstown, for more than 13 years. Her role will also include being Bureau Chief for the Otago Daily Times.

Allied Press is currently advertising for a journalist to replace Ms Roxburgh when she takes up the Editor role, that will include layout and production tasks for the Mountain Scene.

Former Editor Paul Taylor resigned from his job in October 2019 after two years in the position.
