Four Covid-19 deaths - but case increase is 17 overnight
Four more New Zealanders have lost their lives to Covid 19 - three in Christchurch and one on Wellington.
The Christchurch cases are all linked to the Rosewood rest home, with elderly residents being moved to Burwood hospital as a precautionary measure.
The fourth case was an man in Wellington who had been sick with Covid-19 symptoms since March 22.
The number of cases has increased by 17 overnight, 8 confirmed and 9 probable.
628 people have recovered, 82 more than yesterday.
The national total is now 1,366. 15 are in hospital, 3 in ICU and 1 in a critical condition.
