Crown Range fatal crash victim from Wānaka

Police have confirmed the name of the person killed in a two-vehicle crash on the Crown Range last week.

She was Emily Ruth Stewart-Harding, 43, of Wānaka.

In a statement today, police say their "thoughts are with her family and friends".

An investigation into the circumstances of the crash, which closed the Crown Range highway, is ongoing.

Earlier, police said Ms Stewart-Harding died at the scene, while another person was taken to hospital with moderate injuries.
