Big fundraising garage sale a first for Arrowtown

A bumper garage sale is planned for Arrowtown next month and it's for a good cause.

The inaugural Arrowtown Great Garage Sale is a community fundraiser to support Arrowtown's volunteer fire brigade.

All of the proceeds of the garage sale will go towards helping the fire brigade fit out its new first responder four-wheel-drive vehicle with life-saving equipment.

The event itself is set for Sunday, March 12, from 8am to midday.
