Your QLDC rate rises in detail - winners and losers

The Queenstown Lakes District Council has published the detailed rate rises that councillors will be asked to approve at Thursday's full council meeting.

The percentage increases vary dramatically across the district depending on the ward and various cost variations that apply to that ward or sub district.

The biggest losers are Queenstown CBD ratepayers getting hit with around a 24 percent increase due to the arterial road and CBD projects, while the lowest rate increase is just nine percent for a lower value Wānaka commercial property.

Lake Hayes ratepayers get stuck with close to a 20 percent increase, again due to the budget blowouts and delays on CBD projects.

Here's the full list - grouped by lower, median and higher value properties. The full rates increase proposal can be viewed here.

Median rate rises - to be adopted September 19

Lower value rate rises - to be adopted September 19

Higher value rate rises - to be adopted September 19
