Police seeking sightings of red ute in Hanley's Farm

Queenstown police are urging those with information on a red ute driving around Hanley's Farm estate in the early hours of Sunday morning to come forward.

It's a Mitsubishi Triton with the registration number FYZ871. 

They're also asking residents in the estate to check footage from any private CCTV cameras taken between 3.30am and 5.30am on Sunday, March 31 to see if they captured any footage of the vehicle. 

Police say this call-out goes specifically to those living on Lincoln Road, Howden Drive, Barn Road, Woolshed Road, Drysdale Road and Plough Street.

The vehicle owner is currently speaking with police in relation to a crash, however, local law enforcers believe additional information from the public could assist their inquiry.
