Police dive squad called in to Glenorchy drowning search
NZ police have advised that the police dive squad will arrive in Glenorchy this afternoon to help with the search for a swimmer who went missing yesterday afternoon.
A helicopter and boat search failed to find the person.
The incident comes only a week after a 48 year old Wānaka man drowned in the same area under very similar circumstances.
Police are providing support to the family of the missing person.
