Over 300 Queenstown homes without power - Aurora investigates

Aurora Energy is sending a crew to investigate a power cut that affected many parts of Queenstown this evening and has still left 318 households without power.

The outage affected Lake Hayes Estate, Shotover Country. Quail Rise and parts of Arrowtown - but for many people the power came back on almost instantly.

Aurora says the area still affected includes 318 customers around Hansen Rd, Quail Rise and Tucker Beach Road.

A 24/7 fault crew is on their way to affected areas. Currently Aurora is giving 11.00 pm as an estimated time by which to resolve the problem.
