One person killed in light plane crash near Twizel

From NZ Police:

Police can confirm that one person has died following a light plane crash near Twizel at 10.50am this morning.

The sole occupant of the plane was found deceased at the scene.

Police are making enquiries in relation to the death on behalf of the Coroner.

The Civil Aviation Authority have been notified.
