Mix of old and new for ORC's Dunstan Ward

Otago Regional Council's Dunstan Constituency will see a mix of old and new this term, as progress results show who has likely been elected.
Four seats were up for grabs in the constituency, after a representation review saw one seat added.
Incumbents Gary Kelliher (bottom left) and Michael Laws (top left) will return to the council table alongside newcomers Matt Hollyer (bottom right) and Neil Gillespie (top right).
Gillespie is the former deputy mayor of Central Otago District Council where he represented Cromwell. Hollyer brings a Queenstown face to the council table.
Kelliher and Laws were running under the Vision Otago banner. Their running mate in the Dunstan Ward Nicky Rhodes missed out, as did Carmen Hope in Molyneux Constituency however Hilary Calvert will represent the group for the Dunedin Constituency.
This result is based upon the counting of approximately 85% of the returned voting papers. The progress result does not include some special votes and voting papers returned today that are still in transit to the processing centre. The outcome of these elections may change once all voting papers have been counted.
