Hospital numbers down - Covid cases total 950
The number of people in hospital with Covid-19 infection has dropped to 10, with only one person in Intensive Care (Wellington Regional Hospital). All are in a stable condition. No further deaths have been reported.
The MOH says in two or three days time it should be possible to claim a flattening of the Covid-19 growth curve - if the current trends continue.
There have been 82 new cases overnight - 52 confirmed and 30 probable. The new total is 950 cases nationally.
The community transmission rate remains at 1%.
3,631 tests were carried out yesterday.
127 people have recovered.
