Apr 04, 2020

The number of people in hospital with Covid-19 infection has dropped to 10, with only one person in Intensive Care (Wellington Regional Hospital). All are in a stable condition. No further deaths have been reported.

The MOH says in two or three days time it should be possible to claim a flattening of the Covid-19 growth curve - if the current trends continue.

There have been 82 new cases overnight - 52 confirmed and 30 probable. The new total is 950 cases nationally.

The community transmission rate remains at 1%.

3,631 tests were carried out yesterday.

127 people have recovered.
