Have your say: How to fix QLDC
The Queenstown Lakes District Council has just scored a record low of 15% in terms of community approval - that's for both the council management and councilors.
At a recent workshop, the first open to media and the public, the mayor suggested that nothing specific needed to be done to fix this problem - just that everyone needed to do their job well.
In the absence of any stronger or more detailed plan, we thought we should let the community make their suggestions so we can pass these on to the council and the councillors.
It's an easy tick box survey, with lots of choices, and it should only take two minutes or less to complete - plus you can add your comments.
It's this weekend only so closes on Sunday March 10 at 4.00 pm.
Everything will get published on Crux - plus we'll send all of the results to both the council managers and the elected members.
Here's the link - please share with your friends as well. Numbers count!
Take the survey - how do you think the council should reduce debt and increase confidence?
