Crash causes partial closure of SH6 at near Kawarau bungy bridge

State Highway 6 between Arrow Junction and the Kawarau River bridge was closed this morning closed due to a crash.

Police have told Crux that a two vehicle crash happened just after 6:30am on the Gibbston Highway about 500m west of the Kawarau bungy bridge.

Its understood that two people have minor to moderate injuries.

One lane is open at the moment, with traffic management in place.

Recent cold conditions have caused roads to become icy, especially during the morning from dawn to around 10.00 am.
