Car crash closes Glenorchy Road

Police have issued the following statement.

Emergency services are responding to a serious crash on Glenorchy-Queenstown Road in Queenstown.

The single-vehicle crash occurred shortly after 3pm.

One person has been critically injured.

The road is blocked and there are no diversions in place at this moment.

Motorists are advised to avoid the area, if possible.
