Libraries to host speed dating for book lovers

Are you an avid reader and looking for company? Queenstown Lakes libraries are hosting a series of meet-up events just for you.

It's Library Lovers Month and to celebrate the libraries are putting on two gender-inclusive speed dating events.

They're an opportunity to meet fellow book lovers, make new friends or even set up potential coffee dates.

The librarians' advice for breaking the ice: Bring a book to discuss on your speed dates!

It's all about good people and good conversation in a comfortable and relaxed environment - a chance to meet fellow readers in the community.

There's still some spots available at this Thursday's events at both the Frankton and Queenstown Libraries.
