Rental Car public forum approaching capacity - seats need to be registered!

As expected, the public forum on rental car driver behaviour is rapidly approaching capacity.

The Queenstown Memorial Hall, provided by QLDC for the event, has seating capacity for 422 people - and already 378 people have indicated that they will attend or plan to attend.

To manage the possibility of the event being oversubscribed, we need to give priority to those of you who have booked free tickets. The reason for this is that the Facebook event pages are unreliable as an accurate gauge of who will actually turn up.

So far 81 people have registered for free tickets via the public forum ticketing site, while on Facebook 297 people have said they will either attend or are interested in attending. 71 people have been invited to the event by friends or colleagues/family.

So we can get an accurate picture of numbers, please can everyone who has indicated attendance via Facebook please register with the free ticket site. On Friday, we will give priority to people with tickets, so anyone without a ticket does run the risk of not being able to attend.

Thanks for your understanding on this - it is only fair to QLDC and the panel members that the event is run in a professional and safe manner.

Register for your free tickets here.
