Queenstown win at Maori Women's Development awards

For the second time in four weeks Queenstown business Kauati Ltd has won a major Māori business award.

The business is owned by Ailsa Cain and specialises in environmental policy and planning. 

At the end of September, Ailsa and her team were awarded the KUMA Southern Māori Business award “He Taonga Tuku Iho - Treaty Partnership Award.

Last night in Tamaki Makaurau - Auckland, Ailsa and her team were awarded the Māori Business Women Development Te Waipounamu regional award that showcases the very best wāhine Māori business in Aotearoa and the Asia-Pacific region.

This award went to Karmela Rapata of Check-in in 2022.

Ms Cain is the Kaihoutu - Director of Kauati Ltd in Queenstown and is experienced in policy development, review and implementation.
