Milford Sound incident results in man's death

A man has died following what police describe as a water-related incident on Wednesday in Milford Sound.
In a statement, police say emergency services were alerted to two people in need of assistance in the water at approximately 12.50pm.
Another person received minor injuries.
The death will be referred to the coroner, police say.
"Our thoughts are with the man’s family during this difficult time."
