Water restrictions in Arthurs Point, Lake Hāwea and Luggate lifted
Queenstown Lakes District Council has today lifted water restrictions in Arthurs Point, Lake Hāwea and Luggate.
In a statement this afternoon (March 7) QLDC thanked residents and visitors for their efforts in reducing water usage. However, they reminded residents that with the potential for a return of hot and dry weather it is still very important to conserve water where possible.
Use of timers for sprinklers was suggested to ensure irrigation occurs between midnight and 6.00am when demand is low.
