Merino Muster entries open, including a new teams category
Teams entries are back for The Merino Muster, to be held at The Snow Farm on August 31, with early pricing frozen and a special price reduction for under 18s in the shorter events.
There are easier trails in Merino Glen to allow for the siting of the new Snow Farm Base building. These trails are designed to be well within the capability of young families and older skiers wanting to travel at a gentler pace.
There is also is the now famous lolly feed station and if you are a talented dress up lover this is the opportunity to ski as your favourite character or just come as yourself.
Entrants will be able to stand alongside Winter Olympians and a current world champion when grabbing a sausage at the finish BBQ on completion of their chosen distance.
Unable to enter? You can still volunteer or just watch and feel the excitement.
There are multiple team categories: Families, corporates, golden oldies, friends and school teams are just some examples.
One of the key events will be to select the top cross-country skiing school. School information has been distributed so make sure your school enters multiple teams.
All entry information is available on the event website or by email at merinomuster@gmail.com. There are no extra charges for team entries as long as each member has an individual entry.
Merino Muster is encouraging as many as possible to join them in this celebratory event of the historic Sheep Muster on the Snow Farm land.
We have reduced entry fees in the Straggle Muster and Double Fleece for under-18 skiers. They are just $20 provided entries are complete on the Merino Muster website by August 24.
No day pass required but please book your ski hire. Enter individually and add your team name. Team names can be edited without affecting the entry.
