Join Mitre 10 and St John for a BBQ for good

Mitre 10 in Queenstown is inviting the community to come together for a day of fun and fundraising for St John, specifically for their Major Incident Support Team (MIST).

This team plays a crucial role in times of major incidents, providing specialised assistance and support where it's needed most.

There will be a fantastic line-up from St John:

• St John ambulance
• Specialist equipment from the Major Incident Support Team (MIST) vehicle
• Community Educator/St Johns Youth Cadets
• 3 Steps for Life (CPR) training demonstration
• Friendship Drive – the community service in which St John health shuttle and volunteer crew assist community members to get out and about

Additionally, for the children:

• Face painting
• Games, giveaways and activities
• Treasure hunt
• Free popcorn

The Mitre 10 team will be manning the community BBQ and a donation of $10 will be gratefully accepted in exchange for the food prepared. Our burger will not only taste good, it’ll do good for locals too. All funds raised locally, will stay local. 

Every contribution makes a difference and all funds raised will go directly to support St John and their vital work in our community.
