Fundraising Event for communities impacted by Cyclone Gabrielle
Cromwell Promotions, PaperPlus Cromwell, Mainfreight, and Scott Base Cellar Door have collaborated to organise a fundraising event for those affected by Cyclone Gabrielle.
The Cyclone Gabrielle Relief Event takes place tonight (Friday, 24 February), at Scott Base Vineyard from 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm. Tickets for the event cost $25 per person, which includes a glass of bubbles upon arrival. All proceeds from the ticket price and event will go to the Hawke's Bay Disaster Relief Trust.
The event promises to be a fun-filled evening with various activities, including live music by local entertainer Paddy Sugrue, a charity auction featuring items donated by local businesses and individuals, and plenty of raffles throughout the night. The event aims to support those in need and bring people together for a great cause.
The Red Cross has recommended that physical donations should not be sent at this time. However, Mainfreight will collect donations of clean bedding, toiletries, clean clothes and shoes, cookware, and cleaning supplies at the event. These items will be stored and shipped once they receive the green light from their personal contact on the ground in Wairoa.
Tickets for the event can be purchased online here. It is an opportunity to contribute to a great cause while having a fun-filled evening with friends and family.
